Salesforce Ventures and a syndicate of more than 20 CIOs and CTOs, angel investors from Fortune 500 companies, were also major participants in the round.
The funding demonstrates Trupeer's mission to revolutionise business video workflows for software teams, growing increasingly believable.
Trupeer, founded in 2023 by Shivali Goyal and Pritish Gupta, employs advanced AI technology to mechanise the process of transforming raw screen recordings into refined, studio-quality training materials, tutorials, and product demos.
“Software should be easy to explain. But until now, making good product videos meant spending hours editing or thousands of dollars on production,” said Shivali Goyal, CEO and co-founder of Trupeer.
The platform allows companies to scale video production efficiently for a global audience through the inclusion of features such as AI voiceovers, human-like avatars, smart zoom, subtitles, and rapid translation into over 50 languages.
Over 10,000 teams currently leverage Trupeer's service across a range of industries such as SaaS, customer success, and technical training.
Salesforce Ventures followed up with the investment after Trupeer's success at the prestigious Salesforce AI Pitchfield event, which evidenced the firm's rapid growth.

Future directions involve developing the capability to produce movies out of regular papers, mass-customising video content, and seamlessly interfacing with office technologies such as learning management systems and CRMs.
