• AI startup Harmonic, co-founded by Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, has launched the beta version of Aristotle, a chatbot designed to solve complex math problems with verified accuracy.
  • Following a $100M Series B led by Kleiner Perkins, Harmonic aims to expand Aristotle's reach with a web platform and business API, pushing forward its mission to build MSI.

The AI startup Harmonic, led by Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, has announced the beta release of Aristotle, a groundbreaking chatbot software with a focus on math, currently available on iOS and Android.

Tenev and CEO Tudor Achim co-founded Harmonic in 2023 to create "mathematical superintelligence" (MSI), providing incredibly dependable and verifiable answers to challenging mathematical problems.

This represents a significant departure from current AI models, which often exhibit hallucinations and accuracy issues.

Aristotle distinguishes itself by promising "hallucination-free" responses in fields involving quantitative reasoning, including computer science, physics, statistics, and mathematics.

Using technologies inspired by safety-critical industries like medical devices and aviation, the model generates its logic in the Lean programming language and algorithmically verifies results before presenting them to users.

While language-based models from Google and OpenAI have not been subjected to the same rigorous evaluation, Aristotle recently made headlines by achieving gold medal-level performance in the 2025 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), a benchmark conducted through formal, machine-readable testing.

Following Harmonic's recent $100 million Series B fundraising round, which was led by Kleiner Perkins, the app was released.

This increased the company's worth to $875 million and demonstrated that investors strongly believed in its purpose.

With an upcoming online application and an API for businesses, Harmonic intends to broaden Aristotle's reach soon with the goal of promoting innovation in scientific research and math-dependent fields.
