• Indonesia’s Monit secured $2.5M led by Cento Ventures and Sansan to expand AI-driven financial automation and fuel regional growth.
  • The AI-powered spend management platform will use the funds to enhance predictive tools, grow teams, and enter new Southeast Asian markets.

The leading AI-powered spend management platform in Indonesia, Monit, has closed an investment round worth $2.5 million led by Cento Ventures, with strategic participation from Sansan, the prime B2B digital transformation company in Japan.

Init 6 and 1982 Ventures, two of Monit's long-standing investors, also participated in the round, showing their continued confidence in Monit's trajectory.

By providing businesses with real-time control of expenditure, spending, and planning through a platform that integrates corporate cards and smart software, Monit addresses a major gap in Indonesia's financial ecosystem.

Focusing on expanding its AI and machine learning capabilities to offer predictive insights and automate financial processes, the newly acquired funds will be used to enhance Monit's product offerings.

Monit currently processes nearly 1,000 enterprise customers and has sent over $200 million in payment volume.

Based on the company's estimates, the annualised payment volume would hit $1.4 billion by 2026, which would reflect a fivefold increase in revenue every year and rapid adoption.

Monit also plans to begin executing its expansion plan into key Southeast Asian markets and build its sales and leadership teams.

Rizki Aditya, Co-founder and CEO of Monit, stated, “This new funding allows us to deepen our enterprise capabilities and solidify our position as the market leader.”

The investment coincides with the continued growth of Indonesia's digital payments industry, as companies look for automated, more effective ways to handle ever-more complex financial transactions.
