• Camp Network has launched its K2 public testnet, inviting creators and developers to explore IP tokenization and onchain applications.
  • Backed by a $30M fundraise, Camp introduces a Proof of Provenance protocol for registering, licensing, and monetizing intellectual property onchain.

Camp Network, the AI-native Layer 1 blockchain for onchain intellectual property, has officially launched its K2 public testnet, opening the gates for creators and developers to explore decentralized applications and experiment with IP tokenization in real time.

The launch is accompanied by the debut of Summit Series, an interactive ecosystem campaign designed to immerse users in Camp’s custom-built dApp experiences. Participants can complete quests across live applications via a gamified "campsite" interface, part onboarding, part exploration, part creative playground.

“We invite the community to join us as we hike toward the mainnet summit,” said James Chi, Co-Founder of Camp Network.
“This is a chance to help shape the future of AI-native creativity and onchain IP provenance via live applications on Camp.”

The public testnet launch comes on the heels of a $30 million fundraise, co-led by 1kx and Blockchain Capital, alongside participation from TrueBridge, Maven 11, OKX, Paper Ventures, and others.

According to insiders, Camp initially expected to raise only $10 million, a sign of growing momentum around creator-first blockchain infrastructure.

With that backing, Camp has set out to address a hard truth in the AI era: models are increasingly trained on scraped data, often without credit or compensation to the creators. Camp’s solution is a blockchain built from the ground up for IP registration, automated licensing, and enforceable royalty flows.

Furthermore, at the core of Camp’s architecture is a custom-built Proof of Provenance protocol. This technology allows users to register, tokenize, and track the usage of their intellectual property, whether it’s art, music, film, data, or even video content. Once onchain, this content can be licensed transparently, used to fine-tune AI agents, and most importantly, monetized with credit routed directly to the contributor.

Camp’s design also includes gasless IP registration, isolated execution environments, and support for agent-based workflows, making it a rare blend of blockchain, AI infrastructure, and creative tooling.

“The Summit Series kicks off a pivotal first step for our ecosystem partners,” said Drew Rasansky, Head of Ecosystem.
“Each team has invested an incredible amount of work, and I’m excited for them to showcase what they’ve built to our community and beyond.”

Fifteen decentralized applications are already live as part of the testnet launch, with more to be added in the coming months as Camp gears up for its mainnet debut later this year.
