Health-tech startup Ai Health Highway has secured $1 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Turbostart which is part of a larger $1.5 million round.
"We are delighted to announce Turbostart as the Lead Investor for our Pre-Series A round, joined by co-investors Rainmatter by Zerodha and BITS BioCyTiH Foundation," said Dr. (Maj) Satish S Jeevannavar, Founder of Ai Health Highway.
Jeevannavar also expressed excitement about the continued support from existing investors, including The Chennai Angels and other angel investors, who participated in the current funding round. He emphasized the significance of partnering with Turbostart, highlighting the value of their experienced professionals and Centers of Excellence in helping Ai Health Highway address non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and navigate the challenges of the global healthcare landscape.
Furthermore, in a statement, Ai Health Highway revealed that the funds will be used to strengthen its presence in India, fast-track international regulatory approvals, and expand its AI/ML capabilities in the cardio-respiratory field. The startup aims to reduce global premature deaths from NCDs by 30% by 2030.
