Between March 31 and April 05, 2025, Indian startups secured a total of over $349 million across 25 deals, marking a significant rise from last week’s $204 million. The funding spanned sectors including AI, NBFC, fintech, commerce, food, mobility, defence tech, logistics, SaaS, climatetech, and healthcare, among others.

High-Value Deals Dominate

Autotech saw the highest investment this week, with Spinny topping the chart by raising $131 million. Robotics startup Chef Robotics followed with a $43.1 million round.

NBFC firm Infinity Fincorp and travel fintech Scapia each raised $40 million, while defence tech firm Tonbo Imaging brought in $20.46 million. Together, these three firms accounted for $60.46 million.

Emerging Startups Attract Early-Stage Funding

Several emerging startups also made headlines with early-stage funding. RapidClaims raised $11 million in a Series A round, while clean energy startup Aerem closed $11.7 million in Series A funding.

AI startup Further AI secured $5 million in seed funding, and men's fashion brand The Bear House raised $5.84 million in its Series A.

Additional early-stage deals included Sweet Karam Coffee ($8 million), Jai Kisan ($3.09 million), Wendor ($2.5 million), and LehLah ($1.46 million). Other notable mentions include Argos Watches ($760,000), Stance Health ($1 million), Nūl ($500,000), Entvin AI ($500,000), and DriverShaab ($320,000).

Undisclosed Deals and Acquisitions

Shark Tank India-featured brand Better Nutrition raised $1.17 million, while publishing platform Pratilipi closed a $20 million Series E round.

Cafe chain Bistro57, e-commerce aggregator Evenflow, and YatriKart did not disclose their funding details.

The period also saw a series of strategic acquisitions. Delhivery took a controlling stake in rival Ecom Express. In other deals, Kenexai acquired Ridgeant India, SpaceBasic took over CAMPUS, and BorderPlus bought Onea Care.
