The platform is the brainchild of Willy Chuang, former COO of hybrid CeFi/DeFi exchange WOO, and Alex Lee, a PhD in AI and former tech investor at Temasek. The duo is building what they call “crypto’s first agentic engine”—an intelligent system that acts as a hyper-personalized co-pilot for crypto traders, surfacing timely insights from across chains, social channels, and macro data.
In a joint statement, Co-Founders Chuang and Lee, said:
“We believe AI agents will redefine how people invest in crypto. Our engine is designed to go beyond data—it adapts to user behavior and decision-making patterns in real time, bridging the gap between investor intent and actionable outcomes.”
TrueNorth’s system employs autonomous agents and generative user interfaces (Gen UI) to deliver high-signal insights that evolve with each user’s portfolio, trading style, and past interactions.
The platform is currently in closed beta, working closely with its first 500 users—dubbed “Truthsayers”—to refine what it calls “agentic workflows” tailored to real-world investing behavior.
The founding team is backed by a who’s who of crypto and AI thought leaders, including Bryan Pellegrino (LayerZero), Jeff Feng (SEI), Jordi Alexander (Selini Capital), Yongjin (Presto Labs), and Will Wang (Generative Ventures).
Their collective belief in the power of data-driven, AI-native infrastructure reflects the very principles upon which TrueNorth is built: faster, smarter, and more personalized crypto decision-making.
“Having worked closely with traders at WOO, I saw firsthand how fragmented data leads to poor decisions,” said Chuang. “TrueNorth is about reducing that friction—an engine that thinks alongside you.”
Lee adds that the system is built for a future where AI doesn’t just react—it anticipates.
“We’re not just building a tool; we’re building a framework that adapts and learns.”
TrueNorth is operated under Singapore-based Advent AI and is part of Delphi Labs’ dAGI accelerator. The team plans to reveal its full architecture and agentic frameworks ahead of a broader public launch in the coming weeks.
