The Sui Foundation has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer AWS Blockchain Node Runners on Sui. This means developers can now set up and manage Sui full nodes on AWS, taking advantage of AWS’s strong cloud infrastructure for better availability, scalability, and reliability.
Navi, a leading liquidity on Sui, is among the first to use Node Runners on the platform. They have successfully deployed their initial node using AWS’s service.

“AWS Blockchain Node Runners was designed to support builders at all stages of the application lifecycle, offering blueprints to meet specific requirements, from enhanced security and compliance to ease of deployment and monitoring. We are excited to bring these and other features to empower developers to deploy and manage Sui nodes on the AWS cloud,” said Kathryn Van Nuys, Global Head of Startups in Specialized Segments at AWS.
Node Runners offer validated deployment templates and ensure high availability through multi-node deployment across different availability zones. The deployment code is open-source on GitHub for user review before deployment.
Integrated with AWS Well-Architected Framework, Node Runners also help build secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient node infrastructures on Sui. Full nodes validate transactions, checkpoints, and epoch changes, and store stake and history for client queries, reducing load on validator nodes.
AWS and the Sui Foundation are supporting Sui builders, developers, and startups by offering up to $5,000 in Activate credits for those using AWS Blockchain Node Runners or developing on Sui. Additionally, the Sui Foundation has become a part of the AWS Web3 Provider program, providing Sui developers with access to tools, resources, content, and credits.
