Solana-based AI platform Assisterr has raised $2.8 million in funding to advance its vision of a decentralized AI economy. The round, which values the startup at $75 million, includes investors such as Google for Startups, Outlier Ventures, Echo.xyz, Moonhill Capital, and Web3.com. The funding comes just days before the platform’s ASRR token is set to launch on May 30, with planned listings on Bybit and Binance Alpha.
Founded by a team with roots in DeepMind, AlphaGo, and Cambridge, Assisterr enables anyone to build, deploy, and monetize AI agents—without writing a single line of code. At the heart of its approach is a focus on Small Language Models (SLMs) instead of large-scale LLMs, making the platform more customizable, affordable, and practical for niche tasks.
“We're changing the AI game by making creation as simple as building a website,” said CEO Nik Havryliak, emphasizing the startup’s mission to break Big Tech’s hold on AI tools.
The Assisterr ecosystem rewards contributors through its upcoming ASRR token, creating an on-chain economy for everything from model training to agent deployment. This “AI-as-an-asset” model allows builders and data contributors to earn directly from their creations, marking a shift from today’s centralized AI services to a creator-owned system.
Assisterr already boasts 4.7 million users and 24,000+ deployed AI agents, with early monetization tests generating $160,000 in revenue. Several tokenized agents built using Assisterr tools have reached a combined FDV of $80 million.
The platform is gaining traction among major Web3 players like Metis, Morph, Jupiter, Sui, Wormhole, and NeonEVM, who are using Assisterr to integrate AI into their operations. It was also an early Solana Foundation grant recipient in the UK and has led numerous AI hackathon tracks with partners like Oxford and Imperial College.
“Decentralized AI isn’t just about infrastructure — it’s about shifting control from tech giants to individuals,” COO Dima Dimenko added.
With that ethos, Assisterr is pitching a future where AI isn’t a black box service but a transparent, open system embedded into Web3. Also, as the global AI market continues to grow—expected to hit $15.7 trillion by 2030—Assisterr is aiming to become one of the first true Web3 x AI unicorns.
