• The ICAE 2025 conference will aim to unite global leaders on sustainability initiatives.
  • Chairman Kim advocates for immediate action on ESG and climate change.
  • The federation launches a recognition program for sustainable business practices.

Yong-doo Kim, Chairman of the SNS Journalists Federation and TSN KOREA, is spearheading a comprehensive push for global sustainability through enhanced ESG management and environmental responsibility.

His initiative comes as businesses worldwide face increasing pressure to adopt sustainable practices.

Through the upcoming International Conference in Action for the Earth Environment (ICAE 2025), scheduled for November at Korea's National Assembly Member's Hall, Kim aims to unite global leaders, experts, and policymakers in addressing sustainable development challenges.

"Climate change, carbon neutrality, ESG management, and corporate social responsibility are urgent tasks that can no longer be postponed," states Kim, emphasizing the critical nature of immediate action.

His vision encompasses the implementation of all 169 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and expanded corporate social responsibility through ESG practices.

The Federation's approach includes recognizing and supporting outstanding companies and individuals through their annual ICAE International Conference & Awards.

This platform serves to spotlight successful sustainability initiatives and encourage wider adoption of ESG management practices.

Kim's strategy focuses on six key elements: implementing UN SDGs, expanding corporate social responsibility, strengthening global environmental cooperation, supporting ESG practitioners, enhancing education, and developing future leaders.

Through the SNS Journalists Federation, TSN KOREA, and Daily Union News (SNSJTV), he advocates for concrete action plans that businesses and individuals can implement.

"It is time to identify and invest in the right future leaders," Kim emphasizes, calling for increased cooperation to ensure future generations inherit a better world.
