ACRED will be available across multiple blockchain networks, including Aptos, Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and Ink. The fund also has support from Ethereum ecosystem partner Etherealize and investments from Coinbase Asset Management and Kraken. Through Securitize’s platform, investors will be able to access the fund in an all-digital format, with native redemptions at a daily net asset value (NAV).
To facilitate interoperability across different blockchain networks, Securitize is utilizing Wormhole, enabling token transfers between ecosystems to improve liquidity and accessibility.
Investors who meet the qualification criteria can access ACRED through Securitize Markets, the broker-dealer subsidiary of Securitize. The company will also act as the fund's digital transfer agent and administrator.
Earl Hunt, partner at Apollo and president of Apollo Diversified Credit Fund, described the partnership as a step toward making private markets more accessible.
“This partnership and launch with Securitize is an exciting milestone in our journey to make private markets more accessible and efficient, including Apollo Diversified Credit Fund which offers diversified exposure to a range of corporate and asset-backed credit,” Hunt said.
Christine Moy, another partner at Apollo, highlighted the broader implications of tokenization, suggesting it could lead to increased secondary market liquidity and efficiency in private markets over time.
Carlos Domingo, co-founder and CEO of Securitize, noted that fixed income, particularly private credit, is becoming a key area of demand for tokenized assets. He emphasized that Apollo’s expertise in private credit makes it a strong partner in advancing real-world asset tokenization.
Apollo Diversified Credit Fund operates as a non-traded, closed-end interval fund, targeting income generation and capital appreciation while aiming for lower volatility and minimal correlation with broader financial markets.
