• Polemos launched its PLMS token on MEXC and Uniswap as part of its Token Generation Event starting June 23, 2025.
  • The exclusive PLMS IKO on Kommunitas sold out, raising $250,000 ahead of the public listing.

Web3 gaming infrastructure platform Polemos has officially launched its PLMS utility token, marking a significant step in its mission to integrate blockchain into the gaming sector.

The Token Generation Event (TGE) began at 5:00 AM UTC on June 23, 2025, with listings now live on MEXC and Uniswap.

Before the public listing, PLMS was offered through an exclusive Initial Kommunitas Offering (IKO), which successfully raised $250,000 and sold out ahead of the TGE.

Utility and Ecosystem Functionality

Designed to power the Polemos ecosystem, PLMS will function as both a utility and governance token.

It supports key features such as asset management, player incentives, and decision-making within the community. The TGE follows a series of development milestones and strategic partnerships aimed at strengthening Polemos' position in the Web3 gaming space.

“The start of the PLMS Token Generation Event represents a key stage in the development of the Polemos platform,” said Carl Wilgenbus, CEO of Polemos. “This event is aimed at distributing the PLMS token, which is integral to the functional aspects of our ecosystem.”

Polemos has also announced a partnership with Guinevere Capital, a leading esports investment firm with a proven track record in Web2 gaming.

The collaboration will merge Polemos’ asset engagement tools via its Forge platform with Guinevere’s global network to unlock new monetisation paths across gaming and esports.

PLMS-Powered Features

Polemos offers a suite of tools within its ecosystem:

  • The Armory for collateral-free NFT rentals,
  • Scholarship Program to support Web3 gamers,
  • Unified Rewards System for centralised earnings,
  • Education Platforms like Polemos University and Pharos aim to simplify blockchain learning.

The PLMS token underpins this infrastructure, supporting engagement, ownership, and rewards across the Polemos platform.
