French startup Naboo is transforming the corporate event planning landscape with its comprehensive marketplace platform, securing €20 million in Series A funding led by Notion Capital.
The company, which combines venue booking with integrated services like catering and transport, has seen remarkable growth with booking volumes quadrupling to €60 million in 2024.
As an Airbnb-style corporate retreat marketplace, Naboo distinguishes itself by offering a full-service SaaS platform for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events.
The platform enables corporate clients to streamline procurement policies, manage workflows, and handle payments centrally.
This feature is particularly attractive to publicly traded companies seeking better spending oversight.
The strategy has proven successful, with Naboo capturing an average 17% take-rate through a combined provider and client fee structure, resulting in approximately €10 million in revenue for 2024.
Notable clients include Google, Société Générale, and Thales, with 10% of French CAC40-listed companies utilizing the platform.
Following its recent funding round, which comes just 11 months after its seed stage, Naboo plans to automate manual processes and expand internationally.
The company has already established a presence in the UK market, which currently accounts for 10% of its revenue, and maintains a workforce of 140 people, including 20 freelancers.
