MEXC Ventures has announced a $30 million initiative aimed at supporting Web3 talent and accelerating innovation across the decentralized technology space. Spanning five years, the funding is part of the company’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, “IgniteX,” which focuses on nurturing blockchain-focused education and development globally.
The initiative includes a launchpad program designed to foster early-stage Web3 startups, academic research, and developer communities. It will also extend support to institutions working in areas such as decentralized infrastructure, fintech tools, AI-integrated blockchain solutions, and stablecoin development.
As part of this program, MEXC plans to collaborate with academic institutions on blockchain development, research exchanges, and talent training.
Education is a central component of the campaign, with plans to offer university scholarships and blockchain courses in collaboration with global academic partners.
In addition to formal education, MEXC Ventures will implement mentorship programs that aim to connect emerging talent with experienced figures in the Web3 industry.
"It’s a comprehensive initiative that combines funding, mentorship, and global engagement to support the next generation of Web3 builders," said a spokesperson from MEXC Ventures.
"We want to ensure these individuals have the tools and knowledge needed to create meaningful change in the space."
To further strengthen outreach, MEXC will organize hackathons and developer engagement events across various regions to identify and support promising innovators. The initiative also places emphasis on cross-border collaboration, diversity, and inclusion—principles considered vital for the future of blockchain.
In addition to talent development, the “IgniteX” campaign will allocate funds to support strategically important sectors within the blockchain ecosystem. This includes stablecoins and blockchain infrastructure, with particular interest in projects combining blockchain with artificial intelligence.
