Life science tools company specializing in automated Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) manufacturing solutions, Limula has appointed Dr. Jonathan Esensten to its Strategic Advisory Board.

The appointment follows the company’s recent unveiling of LimONE, its flagship product designed to integrate all cell therapy manufacturing steps into a single platform using a proprietary bioreactor and centrifuge technology.

Dr. Esensten, a physician-scientist, is the director of the Advanced Biotherapy Center at Sheba Medical Center, Israel. He has a background in cellular immunology, clinical pathology, and transfusion medicine, having trained at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he later served as a faculty member in the Department of Laboratory Medicine from 2017 to 2023. Throughout his career, he has led multiple cell therapy projects in collaboration with academic institutions, large pharmaceutical companies, and biotechnology firms.

Expressing his enthusiasm about joining Limula, Dr. Esensten stated,
