• Krutrim has launched Kruti, a multimodal AI assistant that supports over 11 languages and handles tasks like bill payments and image creation.
  • Kruti for developers will be launched soon, allowing them to build and deploy custom agents using Krutrim’s SDK and platform.

Ola-backed AI unicorn Krutrim has unveiled its agentic AI assistant, Kruti, marking a significant step in the company’s journey towards building a full-stack AI ecosystem. Available in beta on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, Kruti is a Gen 2 multimodal assistant capable of analysing text, voice, images, and files to generate responses and detailed reports.

Supporting more than 11 languages, the assistant can perform a range of tasks including food ordering, cab booking, image creation, and bill payments.

Enterprise Features and Developer Tools on the Horizon

For enterprises, Kruti utilises model context protocols (MCPs) and agent-to-agent protocols to harness internal data and deliver tailored experiences. Meanwhile, Krutrim has also announced that Kruti for developers will be launched soon, enabling developers to build and deploy new agents on the platform.

“We are also expanding Kruti. We have built the Kruti platform as well as Kruti SDK. That’s what is powering agents. The same platform and SDK will be exposed to developers,”

said Chandra Khatri, Head of AI at Krutrim.

Krutrim’s Growing AI Stack and Infrastructure

Founded in 2023, Krutrim became a unicorn in January 2024 after raising $50 million in a round led by Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India). The company offers GPU-as-a-service, model-as-a-service, and no-code platforms.

Krutrim follows a full-stack AI approach, building its own silicon chips, cloud infrastructure, and foundational models. It began hosting Meta’s Llama 4 models in April, offering Llama 4 Scout and Llama 4 Maverick to developers at a token price range of INR 7 to INR 17 per million.

It also hosts open-source models from China’s DeepSeek, including the R1 671B model on Nvidia H100 GPUs. By 2026, Krutrim aims to launch India’s first AI silicon chips.
