Healthtech HR platform Jobizo has secured Rs 12 crore in a pre-Series A funding round, with Inflection Point Ventures leading the investment, alongside Alkemi Ventures.
The Gurugram-based startup plans to use the capital to enhance its technology, expand marketing, grow its team, and manage working capital needs.
Founded in December 2021 by Naveen Trehan and Avishek Agarwal, Jobizo aims to fix persistent inefficiencies in healthcare staffing. These include urgent short-term hiring needs, underqualified professionals, and a lack of access to verified talent.
Jobizo connects healthcare institutions with pre-verified professionals for both temporary and permanent roles, using a tech-driven online platform.
To date, the company has facilitated 18,500+ temporary placements, 875+ permanent hires, and over 1,000 international placements across a pool of more than 60,000 verified professionals.
Tech-Enabled Hiring at Scale
“Our AI-enabled, real-time job-matching tech ensures faster and more precise placements,” said Avishek Agarwal, co-founder and CEO. “This round gives us the fuel to deepen our technology stack and expand across both domestic and international markets.
We are laser-focused on bridging the global healthcare skills gap while offering flexible, meaningful job opportunities. Strengthening our core team and launching in more cities will be a key part of our growth roadmap.”
Currently, Jobizo serves Indian cities like Delhi NCR and Bengaluru for locum roles, and multiple cities for permanent positions. Internationally, it operates across 41+ countries, including the UAE, South Africa, Kenya, and Nepal.
The Indian healthcare hiring market is projected to grow to $6.38–$12.76 billion by 2030, while the global market is set to reach $62–$65 billion, driven by ageing populations, disease burdens, and policy reforms.
Vinay Bansal, Founder of Inflection Point Ventures, said,
“Jobizo is bridging the gap between healthcare and qualified professionals by making hiring faster, more flexible and digital thus solving multiple pain points across the healthcare employment ecosystem.”
