Youth-focused hostel brand goSTOPS has secured ₹35 crore ($4.2 million) in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures, with co-lead participation from 1Crowd. Several existing investors, including Mumbai Angels, Chennai Angels, Indian Angel Network, Lead Angels, and Yuj Ventures, also took part in the funding.

Founded by Pallavi Agarwal and Pankaj Parwanda, goSTOPS operates a network of design-led, social spaces catering to young travelers in India. The fresh capital is expected to support the company’s expansion plans, aiming to scale its capacity from 2,500 to 10,000 beds across 100 locations within the next two years. In addition to equity funding, the company is finalizing debt partnerships to further strengthen its financial position.
Pallavi Agarwal, Founder and CEO of goSTOPS, emphasized the company’s vision for the youth travel segment.
"At goSTOPS, we are redefining how young travellers experience India—offering vibrant, social, and design-led spaces for the new generation. This investment reflects the trust our investors have in our vision and the category we are building," she said.
The funding will be allocated toward strengthening operations, improving technology, and enhancing the social and experiential aspects of existing properties. Investors see goSTOPS as a brand that goes beyond accommodation, tapping into evolving youth travel and lifestyle preferences.
Ashish Fafadia, Partner at Blume Ventures, highlighted the company’s efficiency in scaling operations.
“goSTOPS has built a category-defining brand by combining deep operational expertise, smart asset management, and tech-driven efficiencies. Their ability to optimise unit economics while scaling rapidly is a testament to the team’s tenacity and strategic vision. We are excited to back their journey as they continue to expand and transform the youth travel experience in India.”
Anil Gudibande, co-founder of 1Crowd, also underscored the brand’s broader influence.
“As an early backer of goSTOPS, we always believed that the brand was more than just a hostel chain—it’s a youth brand with the potential to shape travel and lifestyle choices. The founders’ ingenuity and deep understanding of their audience have been key to their success.”
With the new funding, goSTOPS aims to solidify its position in the youth travel sector by expanding its footprint while maintaining its focus on affordability and community-driven experiences.
