Maruti Suzuki has onboarded five innovative Indian startups for the ninth cohort of its flagship Mobility & Automobile Innovation Lab (MAIL) accelerator programme.

The selected ventures, Frinks AI, mistEO, Adagrad, Com Olho, and Eligere, will now undertake proof-of-concept (PoC) projects with the auto major to test their technologies in real-world industrial scenarios.

This edition marks a significant milestone for the programme as it opens doors to global startups for the first time.

Out of 26 startups that pitched during the finale, a total of nine were selected, including three international startups from Germany.

The five Indian startups are developing solutions in artificial intelligence, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, cybersecurity, and quality control.

Maruti Suzuki aims to integrate these emerging technologies to enhance its manufacturing efficiency and customer experience.
