Stripe, the global payments powerhouse, has appointed Asya Bradley as its new head of Startup & Venture Capital Partnerships.

Bradley, who joined the company in November 2024, announced her role through LinkedIn on February 2, 2025.

Bradley brings a diverse background in fintech and venture capital to her new position. She served as Synapse's chief revenue officer for three years until February 2019.

Her entrepreneurial journey includes co-founding Kinly (formerly First Boulevard and Tenth), a financial services startup focused on serving

Black Americans, which was acquired by Greenwood in 2023 after raising approximately $20 million from high-profile investors including Gabrielle Union, Marshawn Lynch, and Kevin Durant.

The appointment comes as Stripe continues to expand its presence in the startup ecosystem.

The company's startup partner program collaborates with venture capital firms and accelerators to provide exclusive benefits to portfolio companies.

This strategic hire aligns with Stripe's recent aggressive acquisition strategy, including ongoing talks to acquire stablecoin platform Bridge for $1 billion and its recent purchase of Lemon Squeezy, a 13-person merchant of record company.

Bradley's extensive experience in the venture capital world, including roles as a limited partner in Cowboy Ventures and Ganas Ventures, positions her well to strengthen Stripe's relationships with the startup community.

She also serves on the investment committee of the Cap Table Coalition, an initiative aimed at increasing diversity in startup investing.
