Faireez, a New York-based startup aiming to bring “5-star hotel-style housekeeping” to multifamily buildings, has emerged from stealth with $7.5 million in seed funding.

The company offers a subscription-based model where residents of high-rise apartments and condos can receive customized cleaning services from dedicated housekeepers, known as "fairies."

Founded in 2023, Faireez is changing the traditional cleaning model by allowing residents to book services based on specific tasks rather than hours.

Users can schedule chores such as dishwashing or floor mopping through its website or app. The startup has already partnered with top property management companies and landlords, including Silverstein Properties, Charney Companies, First Service Residential, Ironstate, and BNE.

Collectively, these partners manage around 1 million multifamily units across New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Illinois.

Artificial intelligence plays a significant role in Faireez’s offering. The company has developed an AI-powered auto-scan technology that will analyze residents' homes through video to create customized cleaning plans.

This feature is set to launch later this year. Additionally, its dynamic pricing model assigns a price to each chore based on factors like size, supply, and demand.

Quality assurance is another area where AI is utilized. Each cleaning visit is documented with time-stamped before-and-after photos, which are analyzed for quality control and shared with residents in real time.

Faireez also partners with large professional cleaning companies, selecting only the top 5% of employees to serve as fairies. These workers follow standardized protocols and use company-provided uniforms and equipment, ensuring consistency in service.

Faireez claims its workers earn 30% to 40% more than the market average and can qualify for bonuses.

With its AI-driven approach and focus on personalization, Faireez aims to redefine housekeeping for modern urban living.
