• DeHaat acquires NEERX to integrate real-time weather and soil monitoring technologies.
  • Acquisition supports DeHaat’s strategy to offer scalable digital solutions for Indian farmers.

DeHaat, an agritech platform, has integrated NEERX's real-time weather and soil monitoring technologies into its offerings for an unspecified value.

SHOOL, NEERX's flagship technology, a soil and weather sensor system ranked in the top five worldwide and approved by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), will be incorporated into the merger.

Through the use of satellite imagery and cloud-based analytics, SHOOL makes it possible to collect data on soil moisture and climate conditions in real time.

Nikita Tiwari and Harsh Agarwal, the founders of NEERX, have joined DeHaat's leadership team. By combining their operational and technological knowledge, they will help DeHaat further its goal of providing Indian farmers with scalable digital solutions.

Given that India's agricultural economy, which employs between 43.5% and 46.1% of the country's workers and accounts for 16% to 18.4% of GDP, is confronting issues with climate change, input inefficiencies, and sustainability, this action is especially pertinent.

This acquisition is in line with DeHaat's long-term expansion plan and comes after the company raised ₹200 crore in capital in April 2025.

With more than 12 million users, the company has surpassed its farmer outreach goals after previously acquiring additional assets to fortify its platform.

The company does aim for 40% growth in FY25, which would result in a higher projected figure than ₹3,500 crore.

DeHaat intends to extend its services to new states in the future, such as Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. To further support its sustainability mission, the company is also looking into other acquisitions, especially in the field of biological agricultural inputs.

AgriCentral was purchased by DeHaat from Olam Agri in January of this year in an all-cash transaction.
