Agentic AI startup Composio has raised $25 million in a funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.
The round also included participation from existing investors Elevation Capital, Together Fund, and high-profile angel investors such as Gokul Rajaram, Sohum Mazumdar, and Dharmesh Shah.
Founded in 2023 by Soham Ganatra and Karan Vaidya, Composio operates from San Francisco and Bengaluru.
The company specialises in building infrastructure that allows AI agents to plug directly into major business apps, including Gmail, GitHub, Salesforce, and Slack.
This connective layer lets autonomous AI tools interact with the enterprise software stack, streamlining complex workflows without the need for custom integrations or extra code from developers.
Composio’s platform features pre-built, production-ready integrations, enabling AI agents to automate actions such as sending emails, updating CRM entries, managing support tickets, and working with code repositories.
This approach is designed to overcome the current limitations of AI models, which struggle to mimic the contextual learning and adaptability of human employees.
“We’re solving this at the infrastructure level,” said CEO & co-founder Soham Ganatra.
The company claims over 100,000 developers are using the platform, with growing adoption among AI-first startups.
Key customers include recent Y Combinator graduates like April, OpenNote, Airweave, Den, and Dash.
More than 200 companies are already paying customers, and Composio reports generating over $1 million in annualised recurring revenue.
The new funding will fuel expansion of its engineering and research teams as Composio scales to meet global enterprise demand.
