Rangsons Aerospace, a Bengaluru-based aerospace and defense company, has secured ₹300 crore in a funding round led by ValueQuest Investment Advisors. Anand Rathi Advisors acted as the financial advisor for the transaction.

The fresh capital will enable Rangsons Aerospace to scale its operations in India, expand internationally, and develop new products and solutions for the commercial and military aviation markets worldwide.

Strengthening Its Aerospace and Defense Presence

Rangsons Aerospace Managing Director Pavan Ranga highlighted that the funding will accelerate the firm’s ability to meet growing demands in the aerospace and defense sectors.

The company is particularly focused on capturing a significant share of India’s fluid-conveyance system market, estimated to be worth around ₹20,000 crore. Additionally, Rangsons Aerospace is working on high-end solutions for the Ministry of Defence and international partners.

The company may also allocate part of the funding toward strategic acquisitions to broaden its business reach into new segments.

Expanding Partnerships and Product Offerings

A part of the Mysuru-based NR Group, Rangsons Aerospace offers specialized aerospace and defense products, including satellite communication systems, airborne thermal management equipment, and fluid distribution solutions.

The company is a Tier 1 partner to global aerospace leaders such as Boeing, GE, and Honeywell. It also supplies critical systems to key Indian entities like ISRO, the Indian Navy, and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

With manufacturing facilities in Bengaluru and Mysuru, Rangsons Aerospace is aiming to build on its existing relationships and further establish itself in the global aerospace sector.

The startup is a part of the NR Group, which has diversified from its roots in fragrances and electronics, including the well-known Cycle Agarbatti brand, into high-tech sectors such as aerospace and defense.
