Bengaluru-based fashion delivery startup Slikk Club has secured $3.2 million in seed funding, led by Lightspeed, with participation from Multiply Ventures and several angel investors, including Tracxn founder Abhishek Goyal, Perpule founder Abhinav Pathak, and DST Global founder Saurabh Gupta.
The funding will enable Slikk Club to expand its coverage from 20-25% of Bengaluru’s pincodes to nearly 80%, as well as to recruit leadership talent, according to co-founder and CEO Akshay Gulati. The company also plans to add at least two more dark stores to strengthen its logistics network.
Founded in August 2024 by Akshay Gulati, Om Prakash Swami, and Bipin Singh, Slikk Club offers a 60-minute delivery of fashion products across Bengaluru. The platform operates on a try-and-buy model, allowing customers to try items before making a purchase, with deliveries managed from a central warehouse.
Currently, Slikk Club features over 80 brands on its platform, including Snitch, Bonkers Corner, Freakins, The Souled Store, Uptownie, Bewakoof, and Off Duty. The company aims to scale this number to 500 brands within the next six months.
Commenting on the startup’s growth, Rahul Taneja, Partner at Lightspeed, said,
"How we shop is changing every day, and so are our expectations from shopping destinations. The team at Slikk has thoughtfully created a platform that delivers delight to customers, from sharply curated styles to better merchandising to deliveries and returns in a short time."
Slikk Club primarily targets consumers under 35 and currently has an average order value of ₹2,000. Over the next five years, the company aims to expand its presence across tier 1 and tier 2 cities in India.
